Step 1

To listen to YouTube music on the iPhone in the background and even with the screen off, you should open Youtube in Safari. Then charge the icon for 1 second to reload the page and select the Computer Version option at the bottom of the screen.


Step 2

Next, you must press Play and exit Safari. As is normal, the video audio will simply stop. However, by accessing the Control Center, we can load in Play and, from this force, the audio of the video in Safari will be reproduced again.



With this little trick they can still listen to Youtube audio, however, they can turn off the iPhone screen and thus save battery. As noted, they can also use other apps as audio will continue to play in the background.
